¡Hola Speekee! is our 10-week series of free Spanish lessons for children at home.

Activity 1
The children are trying some different drinks.
Which of them do you like? Are there any you don’t like? You can try saying what you like and dislike in spanish. Did you pick up the right words for saying this? Don’t worry if not - here’s a table to help you:

Practise saying these phrases. Make a happy face and say “Me gusta” and make a sad or disgusted face and say “No me gusta”. Why not find some food or drinks and practise saying whether you like them or not?
Once you’ve learnt the phrases, print out the activity sheet and follow the instructions on there. If you don’t have a printer, just copy out and fill in the sheet on some paper.
Activity 2
Here’s Speekee singing a song.
Can you hear where she says “Me gusta”? Watch the video a few times and then try joining in.
If you can’t keep up with all the words, just try singing when it says Me gusta. Here’s the words to help:
